Sponsor Cancellation Policy
| 90+ days from event | Refund (minus 3% processing fee) |
| 60+ days from event | Refund (minus 10% cancellation fee) |
| 30+ days from event | No refund |
Written notice of cancellation must be submitted by electronic, registered or certified mail.
Event Cancellation
In the case of the in-person event being cancelled, it will be converted to a virtual event.
Sponsors will have the option to (1) apply their sponsorship toward the virtual event and defer any balance above the virtual sponsorship costs toward the next in-person event, – OR – (2) withdraw sponsorship for a refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee.
Non-Sponsor Solicitation / “Suitcasing” / “Outboarding”
Any non-sponsor company or attendee attempting to sell products or services at the event in public space, exhibitor halls, breakouts or general assembly, without written authorization from the WSIA, will be removed from the event. This sort of unethical opportunist behavior is known as “suitcasing” and is strictly prohibited.
Any digital or physical exhibit, demonstration, event or branded activation that is created and deployed outside the scope of this WSIA event, but is promoted as part of the event, or is created to draw attendees away from the WSIA event, is known as “outboarding” and and is harmful to the industry and the investment sponsors have made in the event. Outboarding is a violation of our sponsor policies, and if it occurs, could result in penalties and a ban for future events.
